SAINI - a trusted name in Surat region for last two decades in the field of Diesel Generating Sets. Headed by its
founder chairman Shri S. L. Saini, the entire business of SAINI Group is looked after & handled by the family
members only, supported by a 200+ strong team of efficient & dedicated technicians.
SAINI started its operations in this field in early eighties when it was altogether a new concept for small &
medium industries (SMI's) to have generating sets of their own. Situation of power supplies were poor in those
times and the generating sets had become an integral part for the industries. Though it was easy to own it,
maintaining the same was difficult & expensive. Situation was so bad that those having their own DG sets were
trying to find a cheaper solution for its maintenance and those who were not having any, were looking for some
leased or hired kind of arrangement.
In this situation, SAINI identified the opportunity and emerged with a whole new concept of "You own We run"
for an affordable maintenance of the owned DG sets. For those industries that were still planning to buy a
generating set, SAINI introduced the concept of "Quick Electric" for providing mid-sized DG sets on hire. Both
the concepts received an overwhelming response from the SMI's and soon SAINI was a renowned name in the
field. Since then, SAINI has grown to become pioneer in the field, with maintaining about 300+ sets annually and
about 20+ MW of hired power services today, spread across the country.
We are proud to take this opportunity to introduce to you SAINI as a group of sales & services, with its associate
concerns operating in different fields like Sales of branded new generators, sales of branded old generators, sales
of reconditioned marine generators, sales of new, old & reconditioned spares, sales of lubricants & other allied
items, maintenance of clients' generators under AMC's and on call basis, leasing & hiring of generators, etc., to
name a few. Besides these activities, the Group is emerging as provider of "Total Power Solutions" on turnkey
basis for small & mid sized captive power plants in the range of 1.0 MW to 11.0 M W.
In view of its largely expanded scope of sales & services, the SAIHI Group operates from its multiplications,
chosen to cater the clients from any part of the city in the minimum possible time. For out of the city clients, there
are DMT's (Dedicated Migrant Team), consisting of Engineers, Fitters & Wire men, the strength of which depends
on the size of the installations.
We at SAINI believe in having total control on the infrastructure in order to cater promptly, efficiently &
economically to the demands of our esteemed clients. That is why the Group has made a large investment in
setting up a full fledged work-station of its own, which has reduced the possibilities of delay in restorations due to
the inefficiencies of any outside agencies. This work-station, spread over a floor area of about 30,000 sq. ft.,
works round the clock and facilitates the 24X7 service on call.
